Pro-Form Sinclair Professional commenced operations in Aurora, Ontario, Canada on November 2, 1991. Pro-Form Sinclair was established to further the partnership goals of creating innovative programs and offering particular expertise in the structuring and marketing of Association and/or Group schemes, along with the brokering of a number of specialty insurance products. The principals of Pro-Form Sinclair believe that the present structure of the general insurance distribution system will continue to evolve with the traditional system giving way to more broadly based, value added modes of distribution, with networking of products and services both within and outside the financial sector occurring. Pro-Form Sinclair is also part of Hub International Limited, which provides a broadly based national presence. Moreover, this provides Pro-Form Sinclair with additional capacity in the U.S. market and membership in an international network.

Pro-Form Sinclair Professional specialize in Professional Liability. We deal with many professional groups including Insurance Brokers, Architects, Engineers, Environmental Consultants, Lawyers and Chartered Accountants, to name a few. We are recognized in the marketplace as ‘specialists’ in Professional Liability Insurance and are privileged to represent many of Canada’s larger Professional firms, in various categories as mentioned above. In addition to Professional Liability, we are able to place many other classes of business, such as Director’s & Officers, Commercial Property, Commercial General Liability, etc.

Principals of the Firm

Peter R. Matson, B.A., C.A.I.B.

Peter Matson is a registered insurance broker in Ontario and his insurance career has included working in Claims Adjusting, Underwriting and Insurance Brokering dating back to 1974. He is the President of Pro-Form Insurance Services.

Robert S. Wilson, C.I.P.

Robert Wilson is a registered insurance broker in Ontario and has extensive experience in both Insurance Brokering and Reinsurance sectors dating back to 1976. He is the Chief Executive Officer of Pro-Form Insurance Services.
